Last one from the UK

Hello,

Just about to set off to our hotel at Heathrow - we take off tomorrow lunchtime bound for Hong Kong. Everything's packed up - just need to move things between bags to make sure they don't exceed our baggage allowance. I've got the feeling that I've forgotten something hugely important...if anyone knows what it is the let me know!

If you're reading this TL I hope you're getting along OK. If you could just send a message to say you're still checking the blog that would be great - I feel a bit silly thinking I might be talking to myself!

Almost another month gone, 34 days until take off!

Good news - the Australians have said that I am allowed to teach there :-)
Lots more jobs to do between now and flying though, top of the list is renting the flat out.

A month on!

Well it's been a month so I thought I would post an update.

It's been a busy January, teaching at lots of different Birmingham schools. Last Friday I taught Year 6 in the morning and Reception in the afternoon - very confusing!

We've now got our visas sorted for Australia, just waiting on the state of Victoria to recognise my teaching qualifications so that I am allowed to teach when I'm there.

2 months and 4 days until take-off!

...email update!

I made a mistake in my email address. It actually ends with @hotmail.co.uk NOT @hotmail.com

The very first post

Mr. T has just shown me how to set up a blog. Hopefully I'll be able to use this to let you all know what I'm up too! At the moment it's Christmas week at school - here in jolly old England...chilly but fun!
